NoPress Eye Protection

  • Clinically developed and approved worldwide for the protection of patient’s eyes during surgery.

  • Developed by anaesthetists for use by anaesthetists.

  • Significant clinical advantages over competition and current medical practice

  • Patented design that allows flexion around nose and conformity to facial shape

  • Single plastic shield that transmits applied pressure around the bony orbital margins

  • No sharp down-facing edges which could injure underlying tissues if pressure is applied

  • Individually packaged in dust proof bag

  • Two non-stick tabs to allow easy placement, even when wearing gloves

  • 3M biocompatible, medically approved adhesive

  • Small holes to prevent condensation

  • Routinely applied to patients for lengthy surgical procedures of up to 12 hours duration.

Whilst not routinely used as PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) NoPress is worthy of consideration as a ‘stop gap’ measure whilst supplies are limited, and the alternative is staff at risk of droplet infection.

  • Comfortable medically approved adhesive minimises discomfort and skin damage

  • Can be used for extended periods: recommendation is to change every few hours where possible

  • Will not slip down the face like eye glass examples

  • No ties behind the head: easy to apply and does not get confused with face mask tethering
