Launch of BiteMe at the UK Association of Anaesthetists Winter Scientific meeting in London

In early January, Innovgas took a stand at the UK Association of Anaesthetists Winter Scientific meeting in London. This event is the leading scientific meeting in the UK aimed at all levels of anaesthetists with around 1100 attendees each year. The stand was taken in conjunction with UK partner, Henleys Medical. Below is a direct extract of Colin Hannah’s report summarising the outcomes.

“This should be seen as a landmark, breakthrough meeting for Innovgas. It was a realisation of the vision for how we want to manage our distributor relationships. It moved on from the model commenced in the USA with Bell Medical and gave us the operational and strategic platform we desired.

This fact in itself was not surprising as we are usually well received by customers, but what was of note was the length and depth of the conversations we took part in, with great detail and insights into current clinical practice and the search for cost effective solutions to clinical problems. It was completely in sync with Andrew Wallis’s vision for Innovgas.

BiteMe was being ‘launched’ at this meeting and was very well received. There is clearly an agenda to utilise bite blocks on a significant scale and plans are in place to role out BiteMe across Europe, and in particular, help manage all the extra volume of intubated patients.

The conference itself and the subsequent training initiatives we completed with the Henley’s sales team, allowed us to fine tune tune our selling messages and materials ready for translation and sharing around our network.”
